Children's Yoga

Yoga for children is an approach to integrative learning using yoga as a pathway. Reading, storytelling, music, creative arts are often incorporated with yoga movement to educate the whole child.

Yoga can help children learn life skills that set the groundwork for meeting challenges and growing strong physically, mentally and emotionally, cultivating self-esteem which will benefit them throughout life. Children also develop balance, grounding, stamina, alertness, improved breathing and wellbeing.

A typical class will include postures which are modified to become fun for children to practice. Stories and themes are often used to carry the child's imagination through a sequence of postures, awakening their imagination and creativity.

Who is Children's yoga for?

Yoga classes are available for children from toddlers to teenage years.
