The Venue
Jnane Tamsna is a luxurious guesthouse located in the Palmeraie, less than 15 minutes from Marrakech. The guesthouse is run by Interior Designer Meryanne Loum-Martin and her husband, ethnobotanist Gary Martin. Meryanne and Martin have a genuine love of Morocco and their hospitality
helps guests to share in its many delights.
There are 24 spacious rooms available, each with it's own individual chic but homely style - a blend of traditional Moroccan style with unusual colours and simplified patterns, merged with a modern twist and influences from India, Africa, America and Europe culminate in a fusion look where guests from all around the world can feel at home.
A main salon is centrally located within the main house, offering a chance to meet the owners or other guests. Comfortable low-backed chairs and sofas, and the friendly atmosphere invite conversation.

Accommodation
 The rooms are divided between Jnane House and two others buildings, hidden within the grounds and organic gardens. These buildings are available to rent whole or as individual rooms. Each building has it's own pale blue swimming pool - long and unadorned - which are decked with comfortable sun loungers.
Rooms in the main house are spread over two floors and lead through impressive tall wooden doors and arches off the verdant courtyard.
Simplicity rather than minimalism is used throughout. Rooms are furnished with a large (or twin) bed, a chaise longue, talbe, chair, fireplace, traditional framed photos or paintings. There are no phones, minibars or televisions in the rooms.
A mix of old and new is found in the bathrooms with tadelakt walls and floors, double basins and fast-filling western baths. Exclusive Tamsna herbal bath oils and shampoos are provided.

Food
Guests can dine outdoors under the arched veranda, or indoors in the spacious dining room. The menu is a mix of Africa, Mediteranean and Moroccan dishes, and most of the ingredients come from the organic vegetable gardens on the grounds, or the farm project outside Marrakech. The chef's beautiful culinary creations are always delicious and very healthy.

Yoga
Yoga can be arranged with local instructors on request. Enjoy a gentle or invigorating practise within your own room, on the roof top or within the grounds. Instruction can be tailored to individual requirements.

Spa treatments, such as massage, reflexology, can be arranged on request and enjoyed in the comfort of your own room.

 The Jnane Tamsna is located within the famous Palmeraie, just a short drive from Marrakech and very convenient for exploring the local area, the city and Atlas mountains in the North.
Marrakech is a vibrant and fascinating city, which has not been changed by the many tourists visiting this enchanting place. With traditional old narrow streets of the old city, romantic gardens, and Jamaa El Fna offering storytellers, musicians and the beautiful Kouboubia Mosque - there is something for everyone in Marrakech.
